Recruitment to PODOSA started in July 2007.
By December 2007, over 200 people have been screened to see if they are at high risk of developing diabetes.
Over 20 people have been found to be at high risk of developing diabetes and along with other members of their families have been recruited into the study.
We need many more people to come forward to take part in the study, so please contact us if you are interested in helping to tackle this epidemic of diabetes in the Indian and Pakistani communities.
